Amazing Grace is such a wonderful movie! This is one of my favorite quotes from it...also said by William Pitt. "We're too young to realize certain things are impossible. Which is why we will do them anyway." :)

That's a wonderful quote from such a wonderful film! I really love the character of William Pitt, especially in the Amazing Grace film! And the fact that he was portrayed by the adorable Benedict Cummberbatch is awesome! I've been trying to come up with a Jane Austen hero for Benedict to play, but alas have failed...so far! :)

Jemimah: There really are so many great quotes in this film! I also love the one you quoted too!
I also love this one which is said by Barbara (William Wilberforce's wife)
"It seems to me, that if there is a bad taste in your mouth, you spit it out. You don't constantly swallow it back" :)

Miss Laurie: Benedict really is a wonderful actor! I would love to see him in an Austen adaptation..hmmm I agree it is hard to think of a hero which would suit him... maybe he could play Bingley? :)

Bingley might be good but he's always had rather a studious and serious outlook to me. And unfortunately he's going to be 35 this year, too old for most of Jane Austen's heroes. I had thought of him for Mr. Knightley but Johnny Lee Miller was perfect for the role! What about Benedict as Reginald De Courcy if they did an adaptation of JA's Lady Susan! I think I would have liked him as Edmund Bertram (now that I'm reading Mansfield Park I see how serious Edmund really is!) but of course he's too old now. I look forward to seeing more Sherlock!

Ohh I would love to see an adaptation of Lady Susan, that would be heaven! From what I remember (I haven't read Lady Susan in a while) I think Benedict would be great!
