Happy Birthday: Richard Armitage!

I almost forgot so I am typing this one out quickly because it would be absolutely terrible if I neglected to wish a huge
Happy Birthday!

 to the great Mr. Armitage.

Richard Crispin Armitage was born August 22, 1971 in Leicester, England. He is an English actor who is well-known for his role in North & South, in which he played the dangerously handsome Mr. Thornton. Richard's acting credits also include many other Tv movies and series' including the BBC Tv Series Robin Hood in which he unleashed his darker side as Guy of Gisborne. He has recently been in the spotlight due to his roles in Captain America: The First Avenger and the upcoming Hobbit films.

and just because it's his birthday (and I can't help but post it) here is Mr Thornton....

I wait the whole series for this look he gives Margaret *swoon*

My Love; Mr Thornton

This is the first post in my series “My love;”
Mr Thornton is the lead male character in Elizabeth Gaskell’s novel ‘North and South’. I fell in love with Mr Thornton when I watched the BBC adaptation of the novel, where he is portrayed by the oh-so-handsome Richard Armitage *heart fluttering*. Mr Thornton (Richard Armitage), along with Mr Tilney (portrayed by JJ Feild), Willie Lahaye (portrayed by Logan Bartholomew) and Tristan of Aragon (James Franco), is one of those characters who I, unfortunately find myself comparing any man I meet with, of which none actually ever measure up. Oh the sufferings of us girls who live within the pages of our books.
Well, to compensate for being 21 and still waiting for my perfect man, and for anyone else who is waiting for God to send them their prince charming... here is a little Mr Thornton to tide us all over until then :)

'I don't want to possess you! I wish to marry you because I love you!'

'You don't need Henry to explain'

'Look back at me'

'I found it in the hedge row. You have to look hard'
